![]() ![]() I'll probably just get the bigger one and not worry about the extra $70. It uses the same feature-rich Roku TV platform as the 6-series and even supports 4K content in HDR10. Well - I suppose I've got a few hours to wrestle with it. The TCL 4-series is the company's entry-level 4K line. My desire to max-out the slickness of this deal is driving me to the 55, but knowing that the new TV will be the same size (actually, just a fraction smaller) than my existing TV is pushing me toward the 58" - even though the deal isn't as good. The TCL 4-Series and Vizio V-series are direct competitors of the Toshiba C530, with similar features and prices, so they make ideal comparison models. So either I get the TCL 55 that's on sale for $70 off the regular $320 price, or bump up to the TCL 58 that's only $20 off the regular $340 price. So a 55 diag TV is good, a 58 diag TV is better, and a 65 is too big. If I want to be able to access the space behind the TV (to monkey around with the physical connection) or be able to see the full screen from an angle, realistically I'm limited to 55 W x 35 H. The location I have my current TCL can accommodate no larger than a 58" DIag TV as the built-in location maxes out at 57 W x 41" H. There are good and bad LCD TVs the same as OLED TVs, the TCL 9 series models seem. But for $70 more I can get the TCL 58 (58S455) on sale and get a larger screen in addition to the higher res, and that 4th HDMI port. The QN90B is the best according to RTings and Ive read through the. this TV is 4K vs HD and has practically the same form-factor (besides a 4th HDMI input which is handy). I want to upgrade the TCL 55" S4610R I have in my Man Cave. ![]()
